Hi.  I'm Henry Lahore, and this is my personal website. I'm a retired engineer who likes to help people with information.

Retired as electronics systems engineer from Boeing in 2002, sold our house, moved into a recreational vehicle, and have since been traveling around the US while helping people. Please e-mail me at hlahore at gmail dot com if you have ANY questions about these subjects. Click here for a 1 page graphic showing 40 years of my life. Here is a text description of my interests and motivations.

Access to Information

I have always believed that everyone should have access to information.
(In college I almost became a librarian, but decided to become an electronics engineer instead).

Message Phone

Imagine a world in which every single person on the planet can afford to access the sum of all human knowledge.

High Speed surf with Verizon

Wireless internet access is now practical in most places in the US with EVDO. The cost is $60/month.

Health and Seniors

I believe that most health problems can be avoided or minimized by self care at low cost - however people need information.
Here are some of the low-cost ways which we have tried which have worked extremely well.

VitaminDWiki You will be astounded by the extremely widespread improvements you can make to your health for $5 in less than a month.
”No other nutrient, drug, or hormone has gained more scientific credibility than vitamin D.”
Hearing - low cost improvements

I have been providing simple low-cost aids to improve my 90+ year old father-in-law. Virtually all are commercially available. It includes excellent hearing aids one can buy on the internet which can be re-programmed at home.

Vision - low cost ways to improve

Brighter light, various lenses, and increasing the size of all computer items makes things a lot easier to see.

Supplements

Includes an excellent matrix of many many recommendations of supplements, along with a list what I take. It has a reference to a US govt study which shows how much decrease in nutrition there has been foods during the past 100 years.

Low Level Laser Therapy

Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) has been proven in many countries to greatly reduce lyphmpodemia, carpal tunnel syndrome, etc. Japan has had LLLT paid by insurance for many years. The US Army uses it to speed up the healing of wounds. Rather than paying more than $100 a month for LLLT for the rest of her life, I made an LLLT for my wife's lymphodemia.  We have had EXCELLENT results.  My web page includes many links and lots of information including use of LLLT to Hair, Knee, Neck, Rosecia, Shoulder, Skin, Tendon, Ulcers, Wounds, and many others.

Whole Body Vibration

Seniors can reduce rate of hip fractures by 60% by standing for just 5 minutes a day on a board which vibrates. There are many Whole Body Vibration machines available ranging in cost from $300 to over $14,000. We made a short platform which Judy stands on while doing the dishes.

Cell Phone RF easily reduced 14 ways that you can easily reduce cell phone radiation. Radio frequency radiation probably harms the health of a cell phone user. The goal should be to reduce the radiation by 10X. The web page also includes links to the hazards of cell phone radiation.
Brain Fitness Use of Posit Science program to increase Brain Fitness. Started Fall, 2009
The End of Overeating Reduce overeating - This is the best book I have ever seen on what we eat. Shows both why we overeat now and how we can avoid overeating.
Ecological Intelligence You can now make decisions which are Ecologically Intelligent.  Great book: Ecological Intelligence and great website www.goodguide.com
